Ethos Development provided us with a bold vision to execute in designing the lobby and common spaces for their residential mid-rise building: design a Wes Anderson-inspired interior that gave a special nod to the director’s iconic film, The Royal Tenenbaums. Through whimsical wallpaper, vintage stylings and an intentional redundancy in artwork and accessory patterns, the concept paid homage to the filmmaker while maintaining the originality of the space. Each level featured a monochromatic color theme, allowing for diversity in the design while staying true to the central motif.
